Re: Regional A final wanna-be
I have a team car that was essentially given to me. I think im running the Green rears, silver fronts. Stock "spike" tires on a indoor clay track. Crazy thing is it handles better than my b4 at times.
I need to get some pictures taken. Might have a fellow racer grab some pics for tomorrows club race. We have a Vintage class that has some good turn out. I need to update the rear of my car with some B3/B4 wheels and better tires.
One of the local racers is a really good painter. I am getting both a viper and protech custom painted along with some other bodies in my new "team" colors. I'll post my collection once i get moved.
Good to see another car getting some use other than a dust collector!

I got the Protech fitted eventually! I like the new cut lines at the bottom of the shell, but round the front, rear and rear shocks its just pure guess work! I think it came out ok.
The Losi wing mounts come through the rear of the shell quite well, but I think I'm going to drill another set of holes to lower the mounts, to lower the wing to make it look a bit better.
I tried taking some pictures but because I did it in a rush they came out crap. I'll get my mate to take some as we are going over to his house today (and I'm taking it to show him).
I can't wait to race this thing.
Soon I'll be putting in the QC2, Orion 10 or 11 double, Spektrum, and I guess I might buy a new servo for it, I'm always short on servos!

Well my mate painted the shell for me, but still no pics. I'll try and do some this week as I'd like to race it on Sunday if I can get it finished

Hi there,
I only ran it in practise as it wasn't 100% ready but it went very very well! One of the UK Losi sponsored drivers wanted to use it ina round because it looked better than his XXXCR!
I went out very early when it was still dusty but was still going quicker than some 4wd's even with worn tyres on it
I have a box full of wheels coming, so will get some tyres sorted for it, get it finished off, stickered up and give a race very soon.
Need the threaded front shock bodies for it though

Awesome man. Keep us posted.
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.

Re: Regional A final wanna-be
Since Northy seems scared to do some updates here some pics from a vintage race in the UK. http://www.northernracer.com/vintage I wish we would have something like that in Germany ...
The tuber seems familiar

Can anyone tell me who's running the Schueys? Al the old girls look great,FUN!
Re: Regional A final wanna-be
I really need to get out the camera for soo many things
RC10
It might get to race this weekend, but only if I get time to sort it out after building my brand new Hot Bodies D4
ProCat
The black and purple one is mine (boy do I need a new body!), another tq and win for the old girl
But they are evil over jumps!

Re: Regional A final wanna-be
Well another little update......
I sold my X-6 which left me without a 2wd to run.... so... I stuck all the radio gear from the X-6 into my RC10!
Nosram ISTC brushless speedo
Nosram 6.5 brusless motor (with 12.5mm rotor)
KO low profile servo
It was also a perfect time to try my new Lipo's so I fitted a TrakPower 4900 25C lipo
Took it to a club night on Saturday night, it was AWESOME. Qualified 6th in the A main - standard 2wd mod, not a vintage meeting! We ran a 7 minute main and I think I was up to about 3rd or 4th when one of the rear CVD's flew out - too much power maybe!
It was great fun though, fast but controllable, but if you pinned the throttle it reached for the sky!
I'm in no rush for a new 2wd now, I'll just run this!
I'll get some pics up.
