Shodog's Tamiya CC01 Bronco project

Post by shodog »

I recently picked up a bronco body for a spare CC01 chassis I have. At first I was just going to make my own body mounts to adapt the body but in the end decided to just get the OEM mounts. I Had to get part of the body mounts from Japan and the other part from England. Trimmed out the body this morning. Still debating on color. I'm thinking metallic blue with a white in the center and a white top.

i still want to grab one of these to extend for a clod body, or just use as is and mount a blackfoot body. i actually had a new in box pajero (silver rally rtr) but sold it many years ago.

color - how about camel yellow?

Very nice start! I love the wheels! I think the Blue on white has been done so many times. How about something different for a color scheme?

How about this? I'm sure what ever you pick out will be spectacular. :D

Laugh all you want. Early Broncos HAD a color like camel yellow. Just sayin'. GMC did too.

I love old Broncos!

Next to the obvious, they're one of my top 10 favorite classics.

Those wheels look fantastic, I can't wait to see the finished build! :D

Here is my Kyosho 4Runner with HPI Bronco body. Not as nice as Tamiya's but it was a good fit on the chassis.
