My hot trick chassis is missing holes
Hey guys, I just got a hot trick chassis for a build I am going to do and it seems it is missing holes for stuff like the servo. Am i supposed to drill some out?

It was common to tape the servo down, but you can always drill the chassis if you prefer

Speaking of taping a servo with "servo tape" what brand sticks to a hot trick chassis or similar?

You can use the 3m stuff from the hardware stores but the hobby shop stuff IMO is better. It goes under a bunch of different brands

I gave up on servo tape a long time ago. I'm a shoe-goo man. Takes longer to set up, but it doesn't fail at the worst possible times. Plus, it's not phased by motor spray or other cleaners.

I too love the shoo goo. It's amazing...until it's time to remove it! I have replaced gears with the servo still stuck to the chassis cause I didn't want to fight it! Lol
