Real cars will never fully replace r/c. 1:1 racing is expensive, and I've been getting into r/c racing more over the last year or so.
Plus, if I break a real car in half, it'll cost a lot more than the $10 a new chassis for my Rustler was.

It's already happening. I missed out on an auction for Rc10 25 degree caster blocks because I was working on my family's car! I've also turned away r/c opportunities for parking lot practice.

I got my permit yesterday afternoon. I have 1 and 1/2 hours of driving now. Most of that's with a Subarru, but for about 1/2 hour, I drove a Prius.
