hoopty, I have the bottom chassis plate NIP with an Associated header card on it, PN is: 6305.... give me a minute and I will post a pic. If anyone can help me locate the top chassis, the post, and any remaining parts, I would appreciate it. I have not done as much research on this chassis as I would like, just yet.

Never mind, It appears to be a bit different.... so, if anyone knows anything about the one I have pictured, please let me know also (not to hijack the thread).

back in the early to mid 90's i worked at a lhs. a friend of mine bought a standard graphite team car kit. that is the chassis that came with it.(mrlexan's, not hoopty's) as far as i know, asc never made a graphite worlds car kit. i could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time, and sure it won't be the last. or is it just that the chassis itself is named the worlds chassis?

Yeah you are right scr8p, they never made a world's graphite kit. Just the chassis, which appeared in '94 graphite stealth kits also when the world's tub car came out. They definitely didn't make alot of these, since the world's tub car was more popular (it won the '93 ifmar race) and was cheaper too.

the gears in my head are turning, so bare with me on this one. i wonder if this chassis was possibly going to be the "b2" platform. if you think about it, the lines are similar to those of the t2. then, asc changed their direction of the b2, and had already made some of the chassis, so they put them in the team car kits. just a thought. i'm probably off my rocker with this idea.

for a very short time, it came in the graphite team car kit. asc didn't make a graphite worlds car kit. but it is a worlds chassis, by name.mrlexan wrote:Just so I am straight here, it is a graphite chassis for the worlds car.... that was nevered offered in a kit, just as a hop up?
