Team Gair'"s Layout looks awsome has the look of the earliest set up...The B5s have the ability to Move batteries in that way.. He can keep the wt down and still have the wt shift action that kinwald is getting from the wt on the side of the batts, with a quicker slide of battery front to back for traction , and steering adjustments without doing a fulll Shock rebuild. This would be fun to try at the track. It didnt make as much of a change in the MID car but i might try it on the rear motor car...
Godspeed, there isn't much advantage unless you upgrade the bellcrank too.
Here are my Goldpan and my pink pan.
The Goldpan is currently being completely re-done, and turned back into a short arm.

. . . you have Associated Green Slime for brains. And not even new Green Slime, but old gooped out Green Slime.
I recommended the Team Associated plastic bellcranks because they're cheap and they work well form what I've heard. I have no personal experience with them, but they seem to work fine for everyone that uses them.
I have an A&L bellcrank in my Goldpan. I bought it literally a week before The Intriguing Ad ran, right after I ran out of stock bellcrank parts. It's a very nice piece, but I probably would have saved the $20 and gotten an AE bellcrank had the timing been different.
I also have an MIP bellcrank in the Pb-10 that Scr8p put in, it's a nice piece but long since discontinued.
The advantage of the JConcepts or A&L bellcrank is supporting an aftermarket company that supports the Rc10, and looks. IMO the fluorescent green/ carbon fiber A&L and the colorful anodized aluminum JConcepts bellcranks look a lot cooler than the off-white AE ones.
Whatever you choose, don't overpay for bearings. You can get the A&L for $30 without bearings, or $45 with bearings IIRC. It needs four bearings that can be had for $1 apiece.

I really like this layout too! If I had extra cash to throw away I would get some short packs and do this myself.
Hello All. I've had an interest in vintage RC10s ever since I remember reading about the worlds and RC10T kits in the magazines as a kid. I figured now is a good time to get into it with the ReRes out. I just traced a TC4 for what you see in the...

I won an auction for some front end parts for the second car. Once I have them in I'll be doing a cleanup of all of the plastics.
So, this was my first rear RC, bought with a lot of hard-earned lawn mowing/snow shoveling/pet sitting money back in '94 when I was 12. I ran it until the MSC burned up, then it got shelved. I got back into RC when I was 19, but I was into nitro...

Hard on my kits sounds like an understatement.
Well, I prefer to look at it as most manufacturers just not building them tough enough
It's one reason I won't waste my time with Traxxas, though. Save for the Revo, their stuff breaks if I...

Yeah, one was anodized in a separate batch than the other. The same question has been raised on the anodize tint grade to associated, and as far as I can recall, there was no intention on the shade of gold. The color simply just differed depending...
Hey guys, I picked up my first Gold pan car. It's a 6-gear car with a complete spare rebuilt transmission. The guy I bought it from is pretty knowledgeable in them and rebuilt the diff and shocks, replaced the ball cups, and painted the dogbones...

The B4 springs are the same as the originals, just the black springs can be a little tricky to find.
Also I'm not sure if the stock turnbuckles will work with the longer arms, they might be a little short but I'm not positive.
Hi all :) This is my first RC10-project and I posted it a while back as I got it. Now I´ve painted the body and was looking for something different and still vintage-looking so I chose Copper and flat-black. The black is painted on the outside and I...
