MR4-BC Super Dogfighter 2 Special...Restoration Questions
I know, this buggy was not embraced by many when released (or in the collector market now) but my wife bought this for me when it was new for local club racing. I have raced it on and off through out the years and always seem to return to it, lol. I would like to restore it for sentimental reasons and think I have sourced quite a few of the components I need on eBay. Right now I am looking for a front bulkhead cap, body, wing, and wing mounts. I bought a Team Blue Groove body for myt RC10 and wasn't impressed. I fear I may ultimately end up with one though. I know wheels will be another hard item due to the stupid Y adapters they thought of producing.

Re: MR4-BC Super Dogfighter 2 Special...Restoration Question
The reason most of my buggies dont have bodies, is that its TBG or nothing. Id rather have nothing at this point. I just havent heard enough good about tbg. As for wheels,, I have never, ever seen mr4bc wheels or drive hubs on ebay. Never. I search all the time too,, as I have both an mr4bc, and an mx4. Parts are few and far betwen right now. Im quite sure though, that many of the parts hoarders have them, just have not been actively marketing them. They have got to be out there somewhere!
Its also possible that other axles might work for mr4 bc and allow a hex or square type wheel adapter. Would require new wheel bearings as the mr4 mx4 axles are 6mm.
Bulk head caps: Arent there some front and rear bulk head sets on ebay right now? Pretty sure they come with the caps.

Re: MR4-BC Super Dogfighter 2 Special...Restoration Question
Thanks for the input. A few months back there was a sweet MR4-BC roller and I hesitated then it was gone. I also just saw an alledged NIB MR4-BC from Japan but was leery. So the hunt continues!
P.S. I am using B5M wing mounts for now. They fit ok on the tower, but the wing sits so high now!

Maybe some helpful information here. Wheels are still available in the UK. CML has them as do a few hobby shops.

Re: MR4-BC Super Dogfighter 2 Special...Restoration Question
You could always convert to mx4 wheels. Theres some on ebay now, but not much for hubs. I think 1 set. they pop up every now and then though. I ran my mr4 bc for a little while, very fast and good handling for a street runner/basher. Sucks up little pebbles though, and then the diffs get chewed.... not the best runner/basher.
