Kyosho Scorpion Parts Wanted Thread!
Woot! My Scorp came in, so naturally I'm all "I want this&that&this&this&those..." I magine a few of you chaps are also! So this is the place to chat about wanted/needed parts, pieces & such-like. I'm thinking I may start with a set of machined, drilled-out I-Beam frame rails and, if things go O.K., just keep going. So do speak up gents, I wanna make what you wanna buy, Chris REC

Re: Kyosho Scorpion Parts Wanted Thread!
The adjustable motor plate has issues- Stock, it uses flathead screws to mount flush. You can't slot those, or they only tighten in 2 small spots, so regular screws would be needed and the gear cover will not allow uise of these. The gear cover is also part of the tranny in that it supports the center gear. So, the motor plate would require a mating gear cover, which is very possible: I'll keep you posted.
Wheels will happen eventually. I'll be offering 2 different drive pieces that use the stock crosspin. One will be a 12 mm. hex, so you can use dang near any wheel available! The other will have 5 slots that fit the webbing on the stock rear wheel (Which is pretty AND very light,) so those provide Super-positive drive. Give me a couple weeks!
Knockoffs, I did the ones for the RC10, which ae perfect-I made some for personal use that arte M4, like the Scorp and almost everything else, which I did not make available to the public (You guys.
) I included a pic, they are very nice and I may re-pop these in M4.
I have the stock roof proto'd (Holes not countersunk, it's just the proto,) and the frame rails drawn- I-Beam & drilled out, made of 7075- Available pretty quick.
All ideas noted! If things go well, I'll be doing many bits for these! Chris REC
