My Super-Slow JRX-2 Resto
Well, I started on this way back here: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2297
Took me quite a while to find all the rare parts that I needed. This car is now made up of about 90% brand new parts, and the rest were in very good condition.
This original JRX-2 has the following mods:
Losi BB Steering kit
Robinson transmission top shaft
Robinson JRX-2 direct fit spur gear
Robinson trailing link mounts
This is just how I would have raced this baby back in 1990 on dirt ovals in eastern NY. Next I'll be working on trying to recreate the EDM body that I fabricated myself back then, and looking for electronics. Hopefully that won't take another year!
What I want to use (which I would have had back then) are:
Novak T-4
Novak NER2X
Futaba S-148 (this should be an easy one)
Parma Cyclone II stock motor (blue & gray label)..good luck, I know!

Very nice!!!
As for the parma motor, there's a guy on ebay selling a ton of those. He usually sells them in lots of 5. His auction states that he got a ton of stuff from his neighbor's basement. He's sold hundres of hubs (pancar), chassis, bearings, etc.
Regards,
highwayracer

Thanks guys. I'm really proud of it.
Yes, I found a NIP chassis....only one I've ever seen. If you follow the link at the top, and then the link inside the link, there are some pics of that too.

very nice man! I love those robinson rear mounts and the MIP top shaft. I've been looking for those mounts for a while now.
