Re: .your.FAVORITE.radio
I've always liked the looks of the old high-end magnum PCM 3pb. Never actually had one though, it is on my list of things to eventually add to the collection.
The 3pg magnum senior is also one I'd like to get.
My current setup is a 3pj-Super with spektrum module and a hansen hobbies expansion memory card. It does everything I could ever want from a radio except for not having a backlit screen.
The radio I like the least of all is an easy one: any derivative of the second generation futaba pistols with the trapezoidal battery holder in the handle. Those things were terrible, hard to get the batteries in and out of the holder, the holder broke easily, and the battery door tabs broke of easily too.

Re: .your.FAVORITE.radio
I liked the older Futabas. All except for the above mentioned battery issue (pain in the neck!) I too have managed to break the battery door off of one of the three that I have, d'oh!
Re: .your.FAVORITE.radio
This one!
Was using it until recently, always got funny looks putting it down next to everyone else's brick with LCD radios at the impound at big meetings

Re: .your.FAVORITE.radio
I would have to say the XL2p being my favorite. I still use them on some of my runners. Next to that, the old Futaba Magnum Sr. they were hella expensive in their time. i have two of them now.

Re: .your.FAVORITE.radio
The old Magnum Sr. has my vote. I also have 3 of them with different tx modules and many old mini 3h receivers. I still use mine when I run my old cars. But I have a airtronics M11 for the newer race cars I don't really care for the feel of the M11 I am waiting for the new 4PK futaba radio to come out at a reasonable price then I think I will trying out.
Have a nice day!

I have grown an attachment to my 3PJ. She cost me a fortune back 5 or 6 years ago.
There is a 2.4Ghz upgrade in her near future.

He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.
