was going through my boxes to figure out what combo I'll run on my TRX-1 "Seabass Edition"... I knew I had a couple of NOS AE stockers from bitd, but not four of them... Gotta love it when you find out you have stuff you didn't even recall, you both feel good and stupid (old, actually ....) at the same time

That looks like a nice problem to have. Which one did you decide run with? It's probably hard to open the old stock items since they're worth more unopened.

Donno if anyone has found this stuff yet, but Steve Rule popped back up on eBay under a new username and is clearing out a lot of his old stock at really cheap prices. I'm aiming in on that Firebird Latemodel with Bob's name on the window, but I got...

I have picked up a couple of old 6 gear cars in the last couple of weeks. Both have the stock motor but one has gold plates on the endbell and has Yokomo on it and the other has no plates and no markings on it. Anyone no witch one came out first and...

The unmarked motor is the earlier (Yokomo) motor, it was used through early Cadillac production (the motor label should have the address on it). The motor with the brush hood heatsinks appeared later, approximately 1989, and was based on the Yokomo...
Interested in peoples thoughts on the buggy vs truck tranny for racing stock.

Figure out what final ratio you want then figure out what spur and pinion you would need and see which one is easier to run. If you need to buy anything(spur/pinion) for either setup, it's probably a wash.
RC stock car racing seems to be popular here right now..crazy looking cars..they look like they really take a hammering. The interesting thing is that they use a late model chassis and the crash bars and body attach to and around the chassis.....

Hey guys what is the kickup of the aluminum front chassis plate found on the rc10b2/rc10b3?
thanks

Where did you find that video of me :D
Reducing kick would take some work to get the top plate to work right, but it sounds like you have the right idea. You'd also have to adjust caster accordingly.
Whoa baby, Tower now has the rc10b44 in stock!!!!! I got mine :D

Sounds like a wicked set-up! With a 4.5, that thing is going to be fly'in 8)
RC Chick, no need to replace the K-car later on, it'll still be awesome, just beef up the electronics with a nice mod and a speedo that can handle it :D
