Re: I'd say happy 100th to Reg, but...
Well guys, I would first like to thank you all (and Reg included) for helping me when I first arrived here. Unlike many other boards, (vwvortex.com excepted) this is a nice and quiet place to come and chat about RC without a lot of other 'noise'. I've also met a couple of you in person and chatted with many as well. This is a fantastic board and full of guys with a ton of knowledge.
That being said I haven't found that anything has changed at all - if anything, the 'sameness' of the posts and questions is kind of comforting. In a world where change is constant, its nice to see guys here still talking about RC (vintage) and sharing their knowledge. If it weren't for all of you guys, I would never have expanded my RC collection to include some other vehicles and shown me what's possible.
I love this place - and I hope everyone continues to hang out and post. I check this board at least once a day. I don't always post anymore because I don't always have anything to say or contribute, but I'm around!
So happy birthday to Reg - hope he finds his way back here eventually.

Aw man, that's right. I remember like 5 years ago he sent me some RC10 spotlights for free just cause I said I was looking for some. Cool guy, hope he comes back.hawgfanman wrote:Charlie Don't Surf

So what you're saying, basically, is that lack of change is the change that puts this board over most others.... that's a nice change!RC104ever wrote:Well guys, I would first like to thank you all (and Reg included) for helping me when I first arrived here. And you notice, the first thing he does is derail a topic . . . in the chit chat forum, no less!
I'd know that blue swimsuit anywhere, must be time for some debauchery!
