My 1st Build Thread - all carbon original B2
I decided to do a all-original, all-carbon B2 as my first build thread on here. Only have one more carbon part to pick up, and a couple other misc parts, and I'm golden - I don't like to start a project until I have all the pieces I need. So, just a teaser for now...

Re: 1st Build Thread
Nice! I started out restoring my B2 and then it morphed in to an all carbon build too! Looking forward to more updates.

Re: 1st Build Thread
The couple of "other misc. parts" is the one that usually takes time

Cool, just the top plate. That is going to be a nightmare to find though! Good luck!R Cane wrote:I decided to do a all-original, all-carbon B2 as my first build thread on here. cool ! I'll be following that for sure.
NB. I've never seen a build thread of a "OIN" type b2/3 (apart from the grafite shapeway's version of course...), or am I missing something?
Am I the only one using hex up front, b4.2 hubs rear etc?

Re: 1st Build Thread
Ouch.... that was the hardest part for me to find as well... I lucked out and had the only bid on one about 2 weeks ago on eBay... ended up being $13 total with shipping. I feel like I stole it!R Cane wrote:There's one on FeeBay now, but I don't want to spend $45...
might have no choice in the end...

Sorry but that one has the holes for the sway bar. It is for a B3.R Cane wrote:There's one on FeeBay now, but I don't want to spend $45...

Re: 1st Build Thread
This is also the wrong top plate. Original B2 must have no holes for a sway bar.
