Hello All,
I have recently inherited a gold anodized RC100. Will show it and would like to get some feedback on what would be the best way to restore it if possible. I was intrigued when I got it, as I have seen my father piecemeal this when I was younger. He then went onto the Frog, RC10s, helped me and my brothers with their cars and interest, then he moved onto helicopters. So, as I mentioned earlier, I have a new car in my corral of cars. First order of business, what parts do I have, and what parts will I need, what to save and what does not belong. There was no manual that came with the car. Anyone have a scan or a link to a RC100 manual. The manuals from http://www.teamassociated.com/manuals/discontinued/ are rc300s and 500s and the manuals from http://www.retromodelisme.com/manuel_page/223/associated-rc200-associated.html is a RC200, but some of the instructions has reference to RC100. Next I have a few questions:
1. The chassis in the picture looks to be homemade. Can I use the chassis from a RC300 as a template and cut out a chassis from an aluminum plate to replace this one that I have?
2. The servo saver looks to be one from the RC200 instead of the RC100. What are the pros and cons between the 2 servo savers?
3. When installing the radio deck, was there any spacers for the RC100 or was lock nuts used instead?
4. I was looking at the steering knuckle should there be a spacer instead of the 2 nuts??
5. The Aluminum flywheel looks like someone put a router to where a collet would go would the cause some issues??
6. On the Veco is the Perry carb on backwards for the linkage assembly? Will I need a spring to hold the header and muffler assembly? And what is in the exhaust of the Veco?
7. I know DeltaPlastikUsa has some 1/8th scale bodies does anyone else make pan car bodies for this chassis?
As I tear this down and rebuild it I will have some more questions and concerns.

Re: Found a gold anodized RC100
Sorry for the double post,
I was able to find a link to some more manuals, http://www.competitionx.com/car-and-truck-manuals/, the manual for the RC100 and the RC200 turns out to be very similar. I now have a more clear direction on taking the car apart to reassemble it.
