the First New Zealand Vintage Nats - April 24 - April 27
Hi guys
in a little over a week will be the first Vintage Nats here in little old New Zealand
I have been looking forward to this for a long time!
its been alooong time since I have been able to use my rc10 worlds, let along busting out my comm lathe for the old brushed 12x2 motors

the yz-10 im being loaned, should have it on the Friday, I had a works 91 but sold it in 93 to get a works 93 but then bought my first ford escort instead another DOH moment!

wow! what a weekend.
best I could manage was 8th in the a finals, im getting old!
very disappointed in the rere worlds car, wish I took my original worlds car instead!
The 91 stealth car was very popular and drove on the track like a knife on butter, soaked up all the bumps and ruts with easy, as was more reliable than the worlds car
over the next few days Ill post up pictures and videos from the event as I get them
but for now, here in a couple I took on my iphone

Gavin, the guy who took my Stealth car for a few laps actually went to the 91 worlds and had raced against the real cars, so I thought it was a great idea to offer him a drive of mine.
