Here we go with my Pride & Joy - my all-black TRX-1 with period electronics, I call her the "Black Widow", just because I can
Every part is either a new black plastic version or a died original part (previously died in red by its previous owner... redscampi?!?)
Electronics are as follows:
- KO PS 713 FET
- Tekin 411P - Later replaced by Novak M5
- Peak Marauder 17x4
- 3rd-Gen KO EX-I
Plus a couple of other tuning bits: Lunsford Punishers, self-made steering posts, mix of old and new parts in the front suspension, all pale blue parts have been de-ano'ed and polished, some AE parts have been thrown in, and more I'm forgetting now!
The car is a "regular" (a couple of times a year) runner in my backyard. It goes wonderfully!
w/ body Pic:

And an off-body pic with his Nemesis, the RC10 Graphite!

Partial build thread - abondoned along the way:
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=14489&start=15
More for your french speakers or just lurkers:

Good luck to everyone!

My 1986 Tamiya Boomerang. New built from parts with period correct electronics. Some mild hop up's like a Parma rear sway bar, aluminum wheels and Race Prep dogbones.
If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.

One of my all-time favorites... and my first "good" restoration: a Tamiya Blackfoot. Still has the stock MSC and RS540 motor. Updated a bit with full bearings, Traxxas shocks, Frog belly plate and rear arm mounts, and a few other reinforcements.

And the updates are necessary, because this ain't no shelf queen.

This is what happens when you mix up a traxxas bullet, a Losi Jrx2, some miscellaneous bits, add RC10t? shocks, and anodize the aluminum parts to match. Top with a Dahm's warrior body and Losi wing. Add some spice with hydradrive, H-arms, and de-chromed, blacked out Bullet wheels. This was made up about oh, 25yrs or so, give or take. Added some final touches within the last couple years and prettied up the best I could. These pics came out dark, I may edit this later to add some better one(s).

TrackMaster Equalizer with one of my few painted bodies.
Novak 4-10HPc, NER-3FM, NES-1A and Rx pack
Trinity Chris Doseck mod motor
I used the #66 because that was my dad's old dirt track racing number.

About 2 hours and no pics yet? Then again, the non AE cars were always a little slow!
