My Red Hot Ultima

Post by mrlexan »

I love all the old Hot Trick conversions, this is the first one in the series that I have done. Everything is fresh from the package, not a scratch. I am working on some others that I can never seem to find time to finish. I think I should focus on the RC10 verison soon. Enjoy!

Jim, but that would be copying Woober Goober (Scott) and have to be loyal to my locals..... I actually have one that is used, but have new parts to rebuild it. Not sure if it is for the Ultima or RC10, or even if it matters. Are you saying that yours is for sale? Or should I over night mine so that it gets there in the same time the three empty boxes get there. LOL!

Team Pit Stop... two different companies. ;)

I had a NIB TPS chain drive for an RC10 a couple of years ago and sold it for pittance before we last moved. I'm still kicking myself for letting that one go, even if it was one of the crapier RC10 diffs from the 80s. :D

I remember when I got my first ultima, I just had enough savings to buy only the rear arms from Hot Trick. Druled on the bad copied leaflet showing the exploded view of what you got here for months ;-)
Next time I got to that shop they had stopped selling all rc really.
Allways wondered where the showcase ultima went to...
What's under that lexan gear cover by the way; is it Kyosho's original slipper solution? I think I remember it from an old catologue, did you ever try it?
