Pictures of your local track....

Post by RC10th »

I thought it would be cool to see pictures of the different tracks you guys race or play on...

Here's the local dirt track that just opened up here. I've only had a few laps on it and the layout is awesome. Grip is med-low but the track is still green, only a few weeks old.

Here are 3 of my local tracks.

Pegasus - nice outdoor dirt/clay mix. When it holds water, it has great traction. During the sunny days, its hard packed and dusty - slippery

OCRC - indoor large clay track. Home of the Reedy Offroad Race

LRH - indoor smaller clay track. Super laid back atmosphere, awesome owner, great traction (from slicks to RTR tires, almost everything works).

LRH has so much traction, I did snap a set of MIP lite drives on my RC10 with a 17.5, not landing a jump, but powering off a corner. Pulled the wheels up and snap...it was done.

My closest track would be Trains & Lanes Hobbies.

New outdoor off-road layout:

On-road (this used to be the dirt oval in the 80's until the mid 90's, then it was paved):

My favorite local Carine,as you can see very little money but a heap of fun and a big challenge to get clean laps.. The pic was taken from drivers stand and you run clockwise past the drivers stand.. Unfortunately low membership, two other clubs now running on the same day and the council revamping the park means it probably won't be around for much longer  ... Some sweet tracks in the previous pics
