Looking great! Did you find it in Australia? Seems like there are a few of Vipers there
I've been searching for one myself for a couple of years now, almost given up now.
Yeah i found it in Australia, your right there does seem that there is a heap in Australia, problem is nobody wants to sell them unless you make them an extreme offer and even then unless they own 2 they wont part with them, if your really interested in finding one the best way is to search for someone who has one and make an offer cause if you wait for one to come up you will be waiting a long time. cheers and good luck.
Hard enough finding the Viper owners But I guess that's the way to make some progress in this matter. I mean, I'm ready to pay for it. Just not the sums people are asking for NIB cars...
I own 4x Vipers. 2x new in box and two built. Only 1x has seen minimal use. Problem is these cars cost a bomb to buy at any time or place if they are in new or great condition.
Sex. Sex. Sex. I had forgotten how hella desirable the old-skool AYK kits were...
...which is better, really, given what prices good-condition (or, worse, NIB) cars command.
thanks for sharing and congrats on sourcing one!!!

Very nice Viper. I could be wrong, but is the rear wing on it, original? It doesn't really look like the usual one... all the Viper kits I'm aware of, have had the curved rear wing.
(Note: the kit box photo rear wing, to my knowledge, has never been available - but I'd be happy to be wrong about this if someone else knows otherwise!).
This little treasure was just pulled out of its storage box to see the (sadly weak) Sun again....This car was the first review I did for R/C Car over 4 years ago now. Amazing what a better camera can do! Should have tried to clear a bit of the dust...

Looks like something out of a Mad Max movie. I like it. Looks pretty cool! :)
Its been a long time coming but I finaly have myself another Viper. I bought this car from a TC member and it was in pretty poor shape for a 'mint' car. The front has seen a small colision and has been bent back into shape.
I had a guy from Greece contact me through my blog about 3 weeks ago stating that he had an AYK Viper he wanted to sell and after many emails the Viper is now here. The viper is in pretty nice condition though it will need a little TLC to make it...

That Shuttle box looks very familiar. It used to be mine
i was very lucky to come across this un-run ayk viper a while ago, there were a couple things missing but also quite a few spare's! i have to admit these are one of the best looking buggies there is, the material's used are very cool and that...

Sdp/Si sells ladder chain in many pitches and sizes. If you can measure what you have they may sell it. The chain for the dominators, i read somewhere, came from them originally as well as some other small drive parts
I finally found the holy grail of AYK buggies!! Now I just need to set back until it arrives here are some pics of this little gem

The reason I subconsciously am thinking of the shock mounts is...this one has them back to front...it is tall mounts in front, short in the back....the effect on handling would be...would be...don't know, but the feng shui is out of whack.
