this should help with the rear end twisting and applying pressure to just the left rear. The kit is completely custom made to fit so that's nice. It's better than making a generic one size fits all piece work. All I've done so far is weld some 6"x6"x.125" plate on my wheel tubs to mount it to. There's no room under the car.

Well I haven't had a lot of time to finish up the anti roll bar. But really all I have left now is to make the links and add the brackets to the axle.

I'm not 100% confident the wheel tubs are going to survive. So I called it when they fail , I do have a roll bar guy lined up. After I get it to the track coming very soon. I'll take the car to him and get a nice chromoly 6pt bar. Then I can have something solid to tie the roll bar into.

Anyways here's my progress so far.

Finished the anti roll bar. The new stall converter finally showed up so it just went back in. Recommend 150 mile break in so gonna be easy on it the next couple days. It's much smaller I hope it also helps the engine rev a little quicker.

After googling distances I put about 180 miles on it the day after I installed the torque converter on all kinds of roads. It's broken in now. No need to be easy on it anymore. This is what it was built to do

So when does the engine get an upgrade ?

Probably pretty soon. Been meaning to get to the track the past two weekends but it's been below freezing. Depending on how the car does will give me an idea of how far I want to take it.

Finally made it to the track. The weather is still in the 40's so the first run was one of the first few cars down the track. The car was all over the place so I finally let out of it. After that it was good to go. I'm happy with it. It met my expectations and then a little more. Slips are in order and a couple crappy videos.

Love the car and looks consistent but you need to work on your reaction time. Don't worry, this happens as you get older! BTW, there is no blue pill for that!

FWIW, my reaction times get worse the older I get...haha

Car is really consistent, what tires are you running at the track? How hard are you leaving on the converter, sounded like a high idle. Definitely not a sleeper with that exhaust note.

Haha my reaction time works just fine just so you know.

Just test and tune. Was only worried about the launch. Reaction time doesn't effect the elapsed time.

Yeah I think I could've run very consistent 11.4's all day long if I wanted. The slicks are Hoosier 24.5x8x13. Not sure what I'm leaving at, no tach yet. It's a 3600 stall and I'm on the foot brake. Every run was just slightly different seeing where it would break traction or start pushing. It never did. Looking back at the video it looks like I'm spinning about 1.5 revolutions off the line. Next time I'll go down to 10psi and put a little more heat in the tires.

It's only a sleeper to those who don't pay attention. Most no one did. And as far as the DA goes, I've heard the term but have no idea what it is or what it does.

Car looks great and is quicker then I thought, lol. Pretty awesome knowing that there's more in it. I bet it's also a great feeling looking back and seeing something you created work so well.
