Thrust Bearing

Post by Tamlok »

Has anyone tried using this style thrust bearing?

I needed some bearings and saw this so I thought I would try it out. Its installed but I have not run the car yet.

The bottom pic looks like you have the thrust washers on wrong. The grooved side of the washer should be facing in toward the bearing. The balls of the thrust bearing should ride in the grooves.

Sure does look like it, but I can assure you the grooves are facing the balls. Bad lighting and picture compression doesnt help.
