Tomahawk restoration

Hi, just joined here. Im a member over at TC but there seems to be more kyosho love here.

I just picked up this tomahawk.
Stripped it down so far, cleaning up whats there and working out whats missing.

Im undecided whether to just throw a load of re re bits at it or if I should keep as much as I can.

Its missing one front shock (rears seem to be on the front in the pic), its also missing the dog bones.
Tyres are starting to crack, wheels are a little scuffed and lost a little finish.
Driver was crushed and more splits than not, but ive glued that up now. Will need painting outside now though.
Decals are scuffed, shell has a couple if cracks and hasnt been trimmed great,, mirror is missing.

I am currently decided if I want to strip and repaint the shell and try and source some decals, or just buy a new body set.
Also cant make my mind up if I will gently run it on these tyres then put the car on the shelf, or buy some re re wheels and tyres.

Usual story, if I buy all the re re parts I may as well put this on the shelf as is and buy a new kit to run.
