Yes, i do trim some material off the motor guard, for the fan to sit flush and increase air flow as well, and need to re tap the hole to for 3mm screw, original hole for 2.6mm screw.

I suppose it's easy enough to check. If after a good run your motor is warm and the motor guard isn't, neither the guard or the fan is doing a whole lot of cooling.

Anyone know if the RBtypeR/Evo internals can be supported by RB5/SP/SP2 stuff? Vice/versa... ? I'm assuming if the tooth counts are the same, they'd probably work...

Anyone run a Kyosho K Speed Heli Special Mod motor in a buggy? I have one and it apparently a 14 turn double wind. Any info would be awesome, I got a great deal on it at a LHS and Kyosho discontinued it. Amazon has someone trying to get 217 euro out...
