Kyosho Javelin re-re cage on original chassis?

Hey experts

I’m currently in the process of rebuilding an Original Turbo Optima, and between that and my original Optima, I basically have another chassis in parts that I’m thinking could be used to assemble what would resemble a Javelin.

Now my question is, will the parts from the re-re Javelin fit onto my original parts. From what I can gather I probably won’t be able to fit a rear wing, as the mounts attach to the top of the gearcases, which will impede the side plates. Is there any other issues or maybe even a work around to fit a wing?

I look forward to any info and insights that anyone can provide

Yes, the rere cage fits just fine, but you also need to buy the OT-251 in addition to the cage.

The wing mount should be available in 2 to 3 weeks.
