I'm looking to get a brushless motor setup, I'd like to have a decent amount of power, but nothing to overwhelm my car (stealth transmission gold pan, with B4 slipper assembly). I've picked out a few parts that would seem to work...
I'm trying to figure out a motor combo to run in a Clodbuster at next year's vintage nationals. All the classes require 27T motors. I don't know of any adjustable timing or zero degree 27T motors. I was thinking of trying a pair of Sport Tuned...

I asked him and he just said that he wired one for reverse rotation and didn't do anything about the timing.

Why would / could one choose one over the other?
Im I correct in understanding that the rpm output would be the same?
Difference in torque maybe?
One is cheaper than the other?...

My understanding was that efficiency is better with higher voltage battery and lower KV motor given an otherwise equal theoretical performance , I'm sure that's how it was explained to me , something like higher voltage = lower amperage and lower...
This was in a box of parts i got. Decided to try it out and its almost 2x as fast as any of the older motors i have. And not just top end speed, it will spin the tires at half throttle. Anyone have any info on it? Besides where it was made. also...
Hey what motor came in the frist rc10 buggys ? and was it a a/e motor or did you have to buy one fore it ? and what turn were they 21 or 27. just before my r/c days :wink:

Hey guys i found a race prep chi-town Hustler motor, and a old futaba fp mc-6b esc.all of this is the right setup to have in a ventage buggy. and the esc is as odd loking as i have ever seen, but it runs great :wink:
