Your paint work looks amazing. Do you use liquid mask?
Thanks, I used to paint for a lot of people but it takes too long for my current life For this body and when I have the time, I draw on the body - transfer to tape - scan the tape - clean up on the computer and print on a vinyl cutter and then apply the masking. It means that there is no cuts in the body. For the B2 body I am painting, I just apply vinyl and cut as little as possible. So the long tips I pre-cut by hand before applying, the rest is cut on the body.
I think I will be painting the body tonight even though I have no wing for it. Uhh I look forward to getting access to the buy/sell part of this forum - 20 posts to go
Car with electronics. They are not period correct and I may change to a 2.4ghz / brushless setup if I am going to run it. Otherwise it will be controlled by a Sanwa M8 with fishing pole antenna.
So as posted in my B3 build thread, I have decided to do a few more builds. This one is about building a B2 in 1996 style - the year I started driving for Team Associated after approaching Gene Hustings at the 1996 Florida Winter Champs. I am using...

Found a stash of my old B2/B3/B3 Factory Team /T3 bodies.
That's not just a stash, that's a gold mine! 8)
It has a ton of sentimental value for sure, and probably a little $ value too.
sentimental value ??? I guess nobody here on this forum...
This build is part of a series of builds I am doing at the same time while sourcing parts. This car will be the biggest challenge because it looks like crap. It is such a bad state and I will need to replace quite a few parts, but I got it for close...

Oh, I dunno, I've seen worse.
You should see some of the junk I drag in the door.
Welcome to my Forgot how many parts I had and I think I need those bits - build chronicles.
After a good five years of gathering all the Losi JRX parts I could manage, I have finally decided that enough is enough...I just have to build some so I...

Jeez mate - dont apologise at all!! No need for that - was just letting you know I hadnt ignored you at all!! :D I tend to dribble on - so I...
Just figured I'd share a couple pics of my #9000 B2 racer rebuild project. Nothing too crazy, just trying to fix her up a bit. I've had the car for a year or so, it was a mess, the previous owner had all kinds of weight glued into the front and rear...

I blame Tower for the wrong pictures compared to what is actually received. Most people just steal Towers photos for their listings. Many a time I've ordered AE things only to have them arrive looking completely different. Mufflers, headers, exhaust...

any idea what it is and how to remove it?

guess i should give an update, I ended up just running it (motor housing) in an ultra sonic cleaner with a few cleaners, dish soap & some floor cleaner. I let it run for an hour or so. Dried it out with a micro fiber cloth so it didnt leave lint or...
Hello all. I am new to this forum but not new to the AE world. I have been involved with this hobby for about 20 years. My first Hobby grade RC was a Kyosho Big Brute, I got when I was 8 years old. About two kits later I recieved an RC10T for my...

nice looking truck, I think your daughter will enjoy it a lot. Nice to see that I'm not the only one dying my parts :D I am glad someone took the plunge and installed the new trans on an old chassis. I thought of doing this myself, but decided not...
I did a search on this and nothing good popped up so if this has been covered in the past I apologize.... I am looking to rebuild the shocks on my RC10. Is there any type of a kit out there to help with this, or directions? I don't want to screw...

Depends on the shocks condition, they may just need a clean - but then it is best as said above to at least replace the o-rings, you can get away with polishing the shock shafts as long as they are not bent. If they are the hard anodized shocks...
