Yea, im new here not new to rc,
While my real interest is large scale gas my love of old school has me putzing with my 10s again, they were so darn cool,
I admit i find stock boring, i like to mod things, not for the sake of change but to improve or make something i like better, which never comes in a one size fits all box, 10s were it, one could build an entire 10 with no associated parts,
I find at the moment i like the 10s converted, set up for on road or dirt oval, so far ive seen some great builds here in that area but all are electirc has anyone gone nitro on road 10?
Im found an old shock lowering kit in my rc junkyard and started piecing together a on road car, then i see a build on here the cat used a rc10 and 10gt to make a slick rc10 nitro buggy so i am gonna go that way with this current build,
While my junkyard has all kinds of goodies i only found one rc10 rear wheel adapter that bolts to a 4 hole bbs style wheel, anyone got a single adaptor in their junk box?
I drifted off, sorry, so any other on road rc10 nitros here? No not ds but custom builds,

Re: On road dirt oval nitro rc10s
I was thinking way back the local track rc10 was it, the modded sprint cars were all 10s with the exception of one very modified fox, ( 6 gears no stealth yet )
One fellow who back then i thought was old but he was younger than i am now lol, had wild modded for oval cars
It had lots of hand made parts, the chassis was a plate like a pan car battery to the left, it was mid engine, it had longer home made A arms only on the left side and all 4 tires were different, the shock towers were also home made, it was loke a full size 70s dirt oval car,
The guy had 2 or 3 built up that way one for full body one sprint and he always did very well,
Same guy with the modded fox did very well against 10s on the buggy track, but that fox was only about 5% stock

Re: On road dirt oval nitro rc10s
I’ve had a couple customs over the years. Unfortunately many of the pictures were lost or erased. I only have a couple pictures left of one of the buggies I built.
