HELP !! Anyone built tmw-1 ? Triumph front hubs, silly question I know ! Thought I'd start rebuild by rebuilding front end .easy you all shout ! OK, the wheel shaft is smaller in diameter than the hole in the steering arm !
Ie shaft is 6mm hole is 8 . And the hole for the king pin in the hub is larger than the king pin, so its like a dick in a bucket ! Anyone else come across this? Cheers
Depends on the format of pack you want to install. Generally I don't buy battery holders for my cars but make something myself with left over parts or plain stock like spacers and scrap gf10
wing mounts - if you cant locate the triumph ones you could try to see if XXX buggy mounts are available .. they will place the mounting stud close to the same place on the wing but the tower mounting holes are spaced closer so you would have to drill 'one hole' each side to screw them on .. the conical-shaped wing mount top washers are an overlooked item to, if you dont have those i'd try to pick up a pair also ..
Hi,
I just found these parts and I would like to know if these parts from Andy's only fits the Yokomo YZ10 or another car too?
Also how do you distinguish if they are the long or the short version?
Thanks to all from Canada.

So I am trying to restore my first 870c. I found a super clean car that just has a broken front C hub. Looks like I need ZC-413. All other 413 variants look to be incorrect as the lower hinge pin goes through the outer end of the c hub instead of...

More castor will allow better turn in. Cliff Letts article in RCCA in Dec 1990 shows the blocks used.
I have the old classic rear hubs. I went to the track and broke one side of them. I pulled the ball stud out. So are there any options for modernizing? I looked up some information on the site, but all the links are old. All the items to update them...

Hi.
I have 2 12 scale cars. One has 2 hole hubs and one has 3 hole hubs.
What is up with that? Is it a brand thing or preference thing?
I dunno. Thanks.

These are the dual bolt pattern I referred to. Perfect for 12e but you would have to update the right side to make it compatible on 12i,L, anything that doesn't bolt the right side tire to a hub.
Now, what to do with that freshly un-bagged original triumph body... maybe I should get an xxx-cr to try it on ;)

Thanks Lars.
I was going to do another ultima using this body, but somehow ended up trying it on the triumph... and was sold straight-away
I picked this up several months ago on ebay for a pretty good price and havent touched it. It seems to be in really good condition with only a few small scratches on the bottom of the chassis. It wont be until next spring that I run this badboy, but...

The front towers and the front bulkhead are the only parts that I've seen broken. The arms are long and thin...so they'll flex a little bit before breaking. I do remember getting a car with a cracked wheel (close to the bearing).
