I asked them to colour match it to the Trinity stuff, initially they got it horribly wrong as it took the dye very quickly, but the guys stuck at it and came up with the below which looks much closer.
Pictures can always be a little misleading so I cannot wait to see it for real, it does look pretty close!

Looks cool, I don't see any issue with anodizing it? My XXT has a gold anodized one just like yours. I believe it was sold by Racers Edge.
What does MK1 mean?
| XXT | XXT 'CR' Graphite Plus | RC10T | RC10T2 | RC10 World's Re-release | HPI Blitz ESE | Schumacher SV2 |

they made a running change to the milling pattern when they released the 'centred motor plate kit' will less milling:
Oh, so it's just another way of saying early version. I've seen that term MK1, 2, 3 with some older VW's lol. I know the centered motor plates were the later version... Gotta keep it OG

Yeah sorry, its probably just me that used the 'mk1' phrase - I guess I should of just put 'early milling' or something. I'm a VW nut too so forgive me
The motor plate arrived today and I am pleased to say its spot on. Its a better match that the previous one I had fitted, so that one is going to be sold now.
The pics don't really show the true colour, but its very close to the Trinity parts. So glad I have an early milling plate of this colour now

Looks great Ben! What's your pre anodising process, and where are you getting this stuff anodized dude!! I have a ton of stuff I need to get done!
Cheers Andy! No pre-processing needed - I got the plate done by Metal Treatments in Portsmouth - a chap there called Mark Mays did it. Job well done.
Hi jammin thanks for the info on eBay are the anodising people you use available for others to use, if so can you send me some info on how to contact them please

So I picked up some new rear wishbones off eBay this week, I didn't realise that the ones i had fitted had the newer white graphite logo on them - when the rest of the truck had the earlier (and better) silver stamping.
Ok so I am struggling to find things to do, but hey its another neat touch that keeps it all consistent
