Backyard track is complete. 16ft x 40ft grass track oval. Put in ~50 untimed laps with the TRX Rustler safety car on the 20th; another 50 laps timed yesterday. Timing session included three free practice sessions: FP1-20 laps; FP2-20 laps; FP3-10 laps. Total times were 4 min:30 sec; 4:22 and 2:13 respectfully.

Grass did begin to show some wear after yesterday. This after two days rest. Will allow four days track rest before the next test session to allow the grass time to recover.

Next up for testing prior to conducting an actual event is the RC10GTe BL conversion and RC10T3. 17.5 no timing with a 2S 4200 60C Lipo for the first; 13.5 no timing with 4600 2S 60C Lipo for the T3. Timing is with mechanical stop watch. Do have up timers on the radios for both the RC10GT's and the RC10T3. Will progress to using them through a stepped testing regimen.

Using a modified British motorcycle grass track format as my base, blending in JConcepts ST rules package and some things I am trying on my own. Will follow the real world Formula 1 racing schedule and plan my backyard event schedule off that. Think by May 1st, testing and set up will be done and I can blend into their event schedule.
