Just don't forget to pet it from time to time and push it around the coffee table making car noises. And don't tell me most of you guys don't still do that :P ...
Southport NC, near the beach & wilmington---car noises--I know that's against city ordinace
Every thing we do around here except golf is against some city ordinance. But I do it anyway

I bought this one on e-bay for about $90.00 after shipping. I spent about 3 weeks cleaning it up. If you plan to race it all you would need is a quick once over to make sure it was solid.

If you run the unrun Rc-10 you will someday regret it.

that's exactly what my dad's looks like - except the gold pan is PERFECT on the bottom :)

and yes, I'd regret it the same day - but, then again, I'm not one for shelf-queens :)

Don't do it. Either keep it as a piece of RC history or sell it to fund some of your other projects. As others have said, you can easily buy a cheap tub chassis either here or online and beat the heck out of it, race it, or just drive it casually.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Its not mine to trade - I know my dad wants to sell it, but not sure what to put it up for..

and I'm just a few posts shy of being able to get into the buy/sell/trade area here :(

I've been looking on ebay - and see a couple of promising items, but don't want to spend a ton of $$ for another car

Well ebay is full of deals of potential runners.

I am not the shelfer guy either, I actually run all of my RC cars. BUT I don't have one that is brand new.

That is also one of the reasons why i sold my NIP fiber-lyte chassis here.

For a runner I'd try to stick to a stealth version like you've already posted.
