If you have a Tamyia TS color that is not offered in PS (polycarbonate/lexan) you can put down a couple coats of PS Satin clear and the TS paint will adhere to it. Been painting RC bodies for 30 years and just learned this....

Well that was 32 years ago.

This is the easy way to get those little 0-80 x3/16 things in. The 0.35 allen key is a little fiddly!

Just get a 0.9mm MIP...

Use Shoe Goo to keep your axle pins in place...DO NOT EXPAND THE ENDS BECAUSE YOU ARE AFRAID THEY WILL FALL OUT !!!! Then the next person who you give the car to or sell the car to has to resort to medieval tactics to get them suckers...

yes alot. i run the rtr b4,t4,sc10 dogbone rear axles(or the same size cvd setup on some of my cars) on alot of my rc10s . if your talking about the larger tapered axles the stock pins...

I'm sure it's happened to all of us. That tiny set screw that holds the tiny pin comes loose, then you're hunting for your axle. Here's a couple of tips that might help out.

First...to replace that tiny pin(which is long gone) you can use a large...

If you don't have loctite, raid the wife's fingernail polish and find some clear. It works like loctite, but cheap and releases with minimal pressure.

The shrinktube on the CVD is a great tip.

I didn't have any fuel line so I made a set using shrink tubing. Such a simple idea, I would have never thunk it up. :wink:

Yup, that trick has worked for years. You can do it for the hinged lid on your fuel tank as well; just leave the tie wrap really long, and let it stick out the front windshield.
