Sharp looking Rc10. Really like the paint design and the wheels compliment it nicely. Have you contemplated painting the wing at all? Either way, looks fantastic.
most definitely one of my most favorite aft. chassis made for the rc10.
you can probably figure out which one is all new and which one i brought back from the dead...

i do plan on eventually running the beater version, i just need to get some turnbuckles to tie together the front and rear upper plates since the previous owner hacked it in half. its a flexy freak with the upper deck in 2 pieces.
Here is my attempt at a dirt oval racer, although it may take a while to complete but this is what i have started.
Rc10 arms on the left and B3 on the right. T3 tranny mounted on a slant to lower the CG of the motor. B3 drive arms both sides. Custom...

I built a short/long arm offset chassis car using DS on one side B3 on the other probably 10 odd years ago. The car came out great but I never ran it. Always wondered how well it would have worked, but according to the info here not very well. I...
I am looking to upgrade my TQ10's front suspension arms to the wide version (part 6206). Are there any additional steps, past mounting the new arms, that will need to be taken to accomplish this? I did just purchase the Team Associated turnbuckle...

with the turnbuckles in that kit, i don't see you being able to make them short enough using the tower you have. i would just grab a 6231 tower, they're cheap enough. or you could always drill 2 new holes in your original tower more inboard to match...
For the later cars that had the wide track arms, how can you mount a sway bar? What did AE do to mount the front sway? I can still mount a rear one with the stock rear arms but just wondering about the front.
one question tho.. about the ball diff adjustment.. how 'tight' should I have it adjusted? I can grab a wheel and hit the throttle and there is hardly any resistance on the wheel I have stopped. Too...

its pretty firm, you would be surprised. Its as firm or even more so then a graphite chassis rc10.. Its not going anywhere.. trust me:)
this is what happens when creativity meets a bunch misc parts laying around........

i use jconcepts 3m film on the bottom.. it keeps it nice and safe...
I have been wanting to start a project to race on a large MX style track predominantly used by 1/8 cars and trucks. I love the way a trailing arm car runs and handles. The track is loose and rough with huge jumps. It will be a 10th scale buggy built...

What I found with my trailingarm racer was that it's difficult to get enough suspension travel without running into extreme angle or angle changes.
I Think the solution would be to use longer arms but don't have the tools to make something descent.
