Hey everyone! Thought I would share some pics of my LX-T for interest sake and to reminisce.
Back in the 90’s I turned my LX-T into a dedicated indoor carpet off-road racer. Was such a fun and competitive truck, and I got lots of compliments on the body design
I also have a XX-T and LX-T/Duratrax nitro conversion I’ll have to dig out and take some pics of. All have been retired for a couple decades now (I miss my racing days).

Love the stereo mc’s chassis protector
Ha thanks @RETRO R/C It was the perfect sized sticker and was a requirement at the track that all chassis screwheads were covered so as not to snag on the carpet.
And here’s my third Losi (I really should give it a full detailing), it’s an LX-T with a rare Duratrax nitro conversion kit. This was from the early 90’s nitro craze when there were very few race competitive 1/10 stadium trucks as 1/8th 4WD buggies were still the kings of nitro. I raced this for many years including the Gas off-road world challenge in 92 and 93 at Freedom Hill in Auburn Hills Michigan (it’s now a big amphitheater!) where I got Jack Johnson and Jammin Jay Halsey’s autographs on my t-shirt like the nerd kid I was (and yes I still have a t-shirt from 1992) In 93 I got to race against (and lose badly to) Brian Kinwald in the heats. I ended up on the podium of the D main that year, I think BK won the whole thing.

Here’s my mostly stock XX-T. Was only ever used for dirt off-road and won me a lot of races, loved it

Another cool paint job!
Interesting lightening on that LXT and looks well done…you usually just see haphazard holes everywhere. How is the flex & twist on it?

It seemed fine, I think I did it in all the right spots even tho I wasn’t a structural engineer or anything It handled really well!
I dug out my old RC-10 from the late 80s. I started out with a used graphite RC-10 when I was a young teenager. I upgraded to the team car when it came out, might have been in the early 90s. I decided to get my kids into and revive my old...

Luckily it’s double sided tape so it will be pretty easy to move around
My old RC10ce I believe.
It's time for it to run again but I could use some help getting the right parts.

The car is way out of date for the current race tracks but I was able accomplish my goal.
For shame you say that....it just takes some practice to knock off the rust & some tuning and set up. I love the way my Goldie runs compared to my TLR 22,...
As far as i can tell this is an RC10L but i have seen a few say its an HPI???? Not sure but i polished it up and bought some new wheels for it as well as gears. It needs some more work but at least its back up and running. I dont have any before...
I dug out my old 12i and decided to search for a forum about these old cars and came upon this one, I havent run this car in at least 25 years and was suprised to see how good of shape its in, I was thinking of running it again on the local carpet...

Nice RC12i,
The body is a McAllister RM-1 I believe.
Ben
+1 it is the RM1 from Mcallister - not much info on the actual race car on the web its known as the Royce RM-1.
I'm possibly the world's biggest decal whore.
I have two drawers full of mainly Losi sheets.
I was the guy who paid $160 for a XX4 sheet off eBay...and then bought the second set the guy had for $60.
Don't regret it at all.
