Thought I would toss up my original RC-10 that I used to race back in the day with a mid engine conversion. I plan to clean it up and get it running again someday.

i'm definately going to keep the bumper on there. i'm going to be using this car mostly in the street and on dirt lots w/ my brother and the cars take a pretty good beating.

Before getting to any other rc projects, Im going to try and get these done. At least 3 good cars, 1 being an A&L trailing arm car. Others being various SWB cars in different states of tune. Possibly a couple of in complete cars too. Have to do some...

Solid mechanicals, and rolling stock is figured for 2 of the 3 anyway. Trailing arm car still isnt finalized for wheels and tires. Cars are sealed up and ready for install of electronics, and fitting of bodies! Sneak peak of my whole mid collection....

This is was my main car that was used for racing back in the day.

The way I left it many many years ago. Most of the parts were borrowed to be used in my Jr-X2

I decided to move the shock tower forward to bring more of the weight to the front...

is there any specific holes that need to be drilled or any major modification that needs to be done to convert the RC10 over...........i might be getting another Rc10 gold pan and wanted to do the mod to it

I won this car with an impulse bid. I think it's pretty cool! It has a handmade aluminium chassis. A little work and it should be a unique car. I have no idea how it will really work though. :mrgreen:

I converted one of my jr's to mid motor back in the day. It worked really well especially on carpet ovals.

I place the motor plate on the other side...this way, I could run my motors in normal rotation. I also had to modify the rear bulkhead so...

ive been thinking about doing a mid engine rc10t3 but a rc10gt fell into my lap so im going to build it and see how diffrent it will handle to the rear motor rc10t3

My goal was to use up parts I had, I plan on runnning a 3S LIPO and massive gearing for top speed fun. Hardest part was the cutting a rear bulkhead bottom off and mating it to a front hinge pin support such that I end up with zero rear toe in and...

:D Hi Everyone. Here is a thread on a project i started in December 2017. During the holidays I found a RC10 mid engine buggy conversion. Mind you, im not a buggy guy. It was a nice, clean and simple design with a few custom parts like the chassis....
