since all I needed were the m2 (i have a wall full of m3), I ordered a couple of these off amazon. For a rig with more screws than the Sandy im sure its well worthwhile to buy the sets from them.

Still lacking proper tires and the rear shocks are too long but it's mostly complete. Need to print the taillights and then I can revisit the transmission and see if I can make it a little more efficient

I've been going through my parts bins and trying to see what would make a good beach runner. I have an upcoming beach trip, and I want to set up a car around an old set of sand tires I have.

Has anybody done or even seen one of these in person? I love the look and was hopping to get that look when I bought my rere Sand Rover. but with the dt02 chassis its just not going to happen. I like that his is built on the SRB chassis and I dont...

well I started working on the motor while I am waiting for my coil over shocks to come in. I used model car chrome foil on the valve covers and the air cleaners tops to give them a nice chrome finish. it sucks you cant really see the air cleaners...

Until now

On Friday a shapeways package came with my Toykid Beach Buggy kit. Overall the pieces are very nice. The body will need some smoothing before painting it. The rest of the parts look like they are ready for primer and paint. Gonna have to...

I used a whole can of Rust-Oleum sandable primer gave up on that and then used 5 coats of 2K automotive filler primer and pounded it until it was running off the bottom. then sanded that smooth. sealed it sanded that smooth again and painted it....
