Losi JRXT for A&L Roadkill Body
I am building this JRXT to go with an amazing painted A&L Roadkill body I have. I plan to build it in sort of a vintage oval racer manner, with short shocks and Factory Works towers. I think the 5 link rear suspension will go great with the body.
I wasn't originally going to use a retrofit transmission, but I had a couple of cases, and I have never used one before. I had to add the Hydra Drive, and the purple hardware will match with the body. The beautiful Bezerk chassis had to be notched in the rear to fit the retrofit transmission.

Re: Losi JRXT for A&L Roadkill Body
I cut the motor plate to follow the top line of the transmission case. I just wanted to make it a little different. I am also using aluminum drives in place of plastic sliders. Most all of the hardware is aluminum.
I don't think I want to use stadium truck wheels. I was thinking of trying buggy wheels. I want a low stance. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hex mount?
These are RPM Revolvers, crawler wheels. They are about the same width as buggy rears and available in two offsets.
The tires are Duratrax Banditos.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

A set of vintage Pro-Line Striker tires and wheels would look great..especially with the wide 2” front wheels and tires like this..

Re: Losi JRXT for A&L Roadkill Body
Thanks to both of you guys for the wheel & tire suggestions. Both of those look cool. However Jeff Malar has helped me find something that should work very well with the paint on my Roadkill body. The wait is killing me.
I got the Bezerk chassis a few months ago, if I remember correctly. There was no wait. You can order directly from their website. The quality is great. I am planning to get a JRX2 chassis too.

Re: Losi JRXT for A&L Roadkill Body
I was very happy to receive some amazing Factory Works and A&L parts for this build. A huge thanks to Jeff Malar for the towers and great hardware.
I am very excited about these wheels. They should really suit the body. I love the inner clear dirt shields. I've never seen these before on the inside.
I used some MIP shock bodies. They are a bit too long for how slammed I want the truck, but they are on there. The purple springs may get changed. I also think these shocks probably deserve to have the first generation black preload collars.

Re: Losi JRXT for A&L Roadkill Body
Here is the Roadkill body uncut and no decals. The Slot Machine motor seemed a good fit for this build.

Here is the body cut, decaled, and with a wing. I'm not sure if it looks better with the decals/wing or without.

The paint goes so well with the Slot Machine! This is another amazing build!
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.
