Re: upper shock mount bushing - jrx
I don't know of any, but I am not a Losi specialist. My understanding aluminum on plastic is less friction. Aluminum on aluminum gets squeaky and maybe some galling.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

I agree regarding aluminum on aluminum galling. But the ones I was interested in were by Avid RC. They use a sleeve over the aluminum post.

Since I am not familiar with the new TLR 22x line of shocks, I wasn't sure if they are close enough to the early Losi designs to get them to work.

I see, those are pretty sweet. Not sure if you've scoured the Losi section here, but there might be something useful buried in these builds. They are both XX though.JRxJoe wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 12:52 pm I agree regarding aluminum on aluminum galling. But the ones I was interested in were by Avid RC. Thanks. Yes I’ve been reviewing a number of build threads to get inspiration. Problem these days is parts availability. Everyone knows NOS parts for jrx buggies have insane prices by dealers looking to get rich. I’ll just take my chances with modern parts retrofits. If they don’t fit, I just return them.
