Reedy Fury Modified Motors

Post by Dangeruss »

1999 brought a new Fury range of modified motors to the top spot of Reedy's lineup. Intended for touring cars the Fury sported the same 1.4mm vented can introduced on the Rage 24 but with a new dual bearing equipped hand wound armature surrounded by 5.2zm magnets. The motors also featured upright vibration dampened brushes, a composite endbell with aluminum heatsinks and presoldered capacitors. In 2000 Reedy would release a "Millenium Wind" version of the Fury with a new armature, larger commutator and a triple wind system that used one large gauge wind and two smaller gauge winds "to provide the power of a double and efficiency of quad":
