New Pay Pal payment process through Ebay
hello All,
I just used pay pal to pay for an ebay auction and I noticed that the payment screens have changed drastically.
1. There is now a new screen which asks you if you want to pay for all of your items at once (for multiple auctions from different sellers)
2. The pay pal payment screens look different. Before, you were actually transferred from ebay to pay pal. Now it looks like the actual transaction is processed within Ebay. The screens have that yellowish boarder just like all of the other ebay screens. I even logged on to pay pal just to verify if their "look" has changed...but it hasn't. So this leads me to believe that that the actual interface has changed.
3. Study the screens very well because everything is different including the section to change the payment options.
That's pretty much it...just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Now back to our origional programming....
Regards,

Yeah, a few weeks ago the eBay payment system now keeps everything within eBay. I don't like not being able to leave notes in the payment transaction now. Other than that, everything is pretty much the same—just less clicky-clicky going from one page to another.

In the past, I've paid my auction directly through pay pal without that ebay interface...just put in the auction number. When I tried to do it this time, it asked for a bunch of information....it was like pay pal had no interface into ebay.

Interesting. I always just click the "Pay Now" button and it went directly through the PayPal interface from eBay. This just seems to eliminate a couple of extra clicks for me.

ER, you can still leave a message but now you have to do it in step 1 I believe. There is a small little message link on the left side below the auction description if I am remembering right. I think you actually put the message in before logging in your paypal password now. I did it once after not liking not being able to do it the first few times then accidentally clicked on it one of the last few times I used it this last week. (is it just me or does that last sentence confuse you tooEau Rouge wrote:. I don't like not being able to leave notes in the payment transaction now.
