converting to rc10T

I would like to convert my gold tub to truck specs.am i relegated to getting stuff off ebay or can i use the parts from the newer stuff at tower hobbies.can someone give me a break down on what i need?thanks

It's easy to convert your car to a truck. But, if you want to convert it to RC10T specs, you're better off just buying an RC10T. It's gonna save you a lot of time and money in the end.

The 10T is based on the RC10, but it's almost an entirely different machine. You'll be replacing about half the parts. Arms, front end, towers, shocks, links, wheels, body mounts, etc, etc. You can get a used in good condition RC10T for between $100 and $150.

If you just get some CRP front axles and longer rears, you can put some blackfoot wheels on your RC10, get some body posts and you're set. That's what I'm doing now. That was the original stadium truck race style, before the 10T was introduced.

10t's can be had on ebay for dirt cheap if you dont mind it being used.

Yep, and it's actually probably a prime time to pick up a 10T before what has happened to the RC10's value happens to the 10T. It'll happen sooner or later.
