Re: Sprint car conversion Big boys toys
What a beauty Anthony, I would use black parts too or maybe white parts all around... Keep us posted, that's a very nice rig, I've always hesitated to get me one of the Sprint cars, they're n ot very common across the pond but I dig them, shiiiiiiiiny ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)

I built mine up like the one in the old RCCA magazine and I didn't even know it: Blue dyed parts!
The mag also shows the single tube rear end on the BBT.
Does anyone have one of these that they could take a good picture of the front end? I am in need of a front bumper which I was going to try to fab myself, but I am not sure exactly what it should look like or how it attaches.
RD makes a front bumper, think that will fit and look ok?

Re: Sprint car conversion Big boys toys
the rd bumper would probably fit, but i'm not sure how it would look. being as though the rd sprints have a 20 degree kickup and the bbt sprint has none. it might look alright flipped around the opposite way it's mounted in that pic.
Re: Sprint car conversion Big boys toys
i think i just got one of these sprints can anyone tell me anything about it?

Re: Sprint car conversion Big boys toys
I must have missed the above post, that sprinter looks like it has seen some action for sure.
The front looks to have been fitted with a mccalister lowering kit at some point, with only the center shock support remaining.
should make a good project car.

Re: Sprint car conversion Big boys toys
Here is a little update, the front tires are new, rears are used but in good shape, the wing is from kippshobbies.com, I still have to make the rear supports for it. eventually I'll get a better body, now that I have nos stickers on the way ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

here is a close-up of the front end showing the caster wedges installed, and a pic of the NIP wedges prior to use.
