ayk radiant manual
ayk radiant manual
I have just picked up this ayk radiant , but i think the rear diff. needs attention, I was wondering if some one out there could help me find a manual or a exploded view of the diff so i can rebuild it correctly. It seems to keep coming loose every time I tighten it it up with a allen key ,and then spin one of the rear wheels.
Any help is greatly appreciated .

Re: ayk radiant manual
thanks - mr.lexan that would be great. It seems in real nice condition. I plan on cleaning it up and putting it back to top notch condition. Its just a little dusty and oil leaked out of the shocks.

Re: ayk radiant manual
Sounds like a bust or missing thrust bearing.
Yokomo used to bend the tension adjustment screw so it would not unscrew so easy. Ofcourse you should only ever do that if the part the screw goes into is strong enough not to deform to the screw shape
Did you try some locktite? If you do: pay extreme not to get any in the thrust bearing!

Send me an email back when you get them... they are big files and I want to make sure they make it into your inbox.
