Flea Market Rc's
Re: Flea Market Rc's
Well , I have downloaded the manual and looks like it will need the front shaft ot-17 and swing shaft ot-6. I plan to keep it as original as possible , add the necessary components to run it a couple times and of course give it a good cleaning. I just removed the roll cage , tires and wheel and gave them a light cleaning. This is my first four wheel drive buggy , so it shoud be a very fun project.
As requested the Transformers , my girlfriend was getting rather annoyed while transforming them I was also making the proper sound effects

Make sure not to run the kyosho on the original tires I have seen those go for over a $100 for the set, and cage which will surely brake from any small roll over wil be very expensive to replace.Looks great nice catch
Re: Flea Market Rc's
Well here it is after a good cleaning. I replaced the missing screws , changed the 10mm bushing to bearing and replaced the missing front and swing shaft that luckily Kyosho America still had in stock. The rims original finish were worn and painted gold preveiously so I stripped them down and painted them white and also added an associated wing. I just need to replace the missing turnbuckles , add the electronics and it will be ready to go. It must have took me a hour to get the play out of the wheels , I didn't realize the wheel hex had a large and small end . Is there any tires available now that will fit the stock rims?

Man that Javelin looks real good now, nice find. And a couple of those G1 Transformers are worth a couple $ too. You made out nicely.
