team losi junior-t
Re: team losi junior-t
Good thread to read. Long build time though, lol.
My Mom has been on a get you crap outta my house spree over the last year so I am getting all of my old stuff that I haven't seen for years. Unfortunately I threw out all of my old rc stuff years ago. I had all of my stuff in a closet. Wish I never made that choice. But you never think about it at the time.
Did you paint that new Chevy body up yet? What does it look like as of now?

Was that an on road course? I can't tell if your tires are street or dirt used on street, lol. Hell, I think I ran mine on pavement more than dirt. When they wore out though they were great for grip on pavement that is.scr8p wrote:i just got the body a week or so ago. until i can remember exactly how i painted it, i'm gonna leave it sit. i think it was a simple red/white job, but just not sure.

Re: team losi junior-t
i raced oval (dirt, concrete, blacktop, carpet). never was an off-road guy. that pic (with me in it) was a temporary parking lot oval track. everyone tried to run foams, but they just wouldn't hook up. so i bolted up a set of proline pro-40's. the only reason i had those was because in the early 90's around my area, racing on hardwood was a big thing in the winter. they were the tires to use at the time.

What I would give to go back then for just one heat. Too bad we care more about this stuff after the fact.scr8p wrote:i raced oval (dirt, concrete, blacktop, carpet). never was an off-road guy. that pic (with me in it) was a temporary parking lot oval track. everyone tried to run foams, but they just wouldn't hook up. so i bolted up a set of proline pro-40's. the only reason i had those was because in the early 90's around my area, racing on hardwood was a big thing in the winter. they were the tires to use at the time.

Re: team losi junior-t
Its not our fault they should still be making these cars but the big companys dont care about us
their just after our dollars. I like the older cars a lot more than the cookie cutter cars of today. at least the old days they made bodys to match real cars what is a T4 suspost to look like? and what is pleasing about a croud pleaser? their ugly as sin

Re: team losi junior-t
nice find.
Post up some pics of the 1991 proline catalog when you get it. I'm sure there is some interesting info in there.
