Hi newbie

I recommend you look on Ebay for parts, you can sometimes find an entire used car for less than 100USD that will have all the parts you need, plus you would have spares when you are done with your project. If you have the time also check out TowerHobbies.com as they still stock a lot of small parts for the second and third generation RC10s (bits and pieces)

You could also go on the Buy/Sell/Trade section of this site to purchase things as there are a lot of knowledgeable guys out there. But you must be approved to get in by the site Administrator first and should have a Paypal account set up before you even think about asking anybody if they want to sell something. It will help you and save time on the other guys end. I have some bits and pieces for a Stealth transmission, Private Message me (pm) and I will be happy to help you out. Hope this helps you buddy, scollins
When in doubt, throttle out ...... scollins

please anybody correct me if i'm wrong.

there is a thread somewhere in here about converting to newer rear axles to run current tires... but off the top of my head you will need the updated rc10 rear hub carriers, a b2/b3 cvd kit, and 4 3/16 x 3/8" non-flanged bearings. you can then run b2/b3 wheels which are easy to find on ebay or a local hobby place if you are fortunate enough to have one around.

you can also use the stealth out of an rc10t. not a t2, t3, or t4. just the rc10t.

i'm suprised i searched all these things... but heres all the first gen stealth stuff i could find on towerhobbies. the complete tranny besides the motorplate, and slipper assembly. i think the b3/t3 slippers work on them, but i'm not sure. associated used the same part numbers for the b3/t3 slipper parts so i assume they are a replacement part to the older stealths as well.

anyway, i agree to buy a used rig off of ebay with a stealth and you will make things alot easier on yourself. you obviously still get alot of parts for the stealth, but buying it all new is a hassle.

the b3/t3 slipper setup will work on a 2.25 trans. you'll need to use a 3/8" x 3/16" bearing, where the 2.25 slipper is a 5/16" x 3/16", if i remember right.

In order to use the current wheels and tires you will need the following:

#7378 3/16 axles
#9277 bearings (3/16 x 3/8 flanged bearings)
#7369 axle pins
#7368 axle shims
