I received airhogs as gifts, a wall racer this year and a heli last year, both were defective right out of the box. They might be cool if you get one that actually works.

Beyond being cheap, they look boring. Sure, fun for the first few batteries, but not much else after that. Give me a car or truck any day, and leave flying for the birds.

Certainly leave it to the birds

Imagine my disappointment when I got the box and no Vamp for $15 posted.

Ironic, huh....considering your Avatar?Halgar wrote:Beyond being cheap, they look boring. Sure, fun for the first few batteries, but not much else after that. Give me a car or truck any day, and leave flying for the birds.![]()

I have a Air Hogs Storm Launcher...well, actually I have 2, only I didnt get to Fly the first one very long, as the Electronics would work sometimes, but not always. So, I really didnt get a chance to "learn" how to fly it. I wound up with a second one from a Buddy, that the fuselage (sp?) is kinda messed up, that I will EVENTUALLY rob the Electronics from for the first one.
Another Buddy has the smaller version, and has flown it several times here, and it was pretty exciting. Im really anxious to get mine going, but just cant get away from these DARN VINTAGE CARS!!!

Well....will see how my 4.5yr old likes it.....it seems more durable than the 20$ mini helicopter I had....that got pegged on the ceiling so many times.....
