Schumacher cars/parts

Post by Momo5 »

Just curious since I'm new here, but where are you guys getting your schumacher cars and parts? I've been looking for a cougar 2000 for quite a while on ebay but can never find one. I did check out Ebay's UK site and they had some there, but I'm a little bit weary about trying to buy from over seas.

I bought out the old Australian importer of all his nip old stock a few years back, thus ended up with more than a few of these cars. They do come up every now and then but I'd be a little dubious as to what condition you'll find them in. Im not certain yet but Ive been contemplating selling off all of my Cougar2000 buggies and spares. Which version interests you?

Momo5, what country are you in? I've bought all my Cougar 2000's off Ebay - they are fairly common but are usually in a poor state. You need to have a good supply of spares to bring them up to scratch - cheers Jason :-)

bormac....I'm not even picky about which version. I remember going to the hobby store back in the day to pick up a RC10 Worlds car, and ended up coming home with a Cougar 2000. I think I got frustrated with it the first time out because I couldnt get it dialed in no matter what. I was like 16 at the time and impatient as all hell and sold it. So I'd like to get a new one. If you decide to sell yours off let me know. I'm pretty sure the one I had was the very first edition. I'd have to read up on the different versions.

minichamps11...I see your from the UK....yeah it seems there are lots more Cougars on the UK Ebay site. I'm in the US and from what I can recall I've seen one on ebay and it was in pretty crappy condition and the seller was asking quite a bit for it.
