Re: xxt Rear Pivot Block "aluminum"???
No,the XXX pivot block will not work on the XX series of cars and trucks.
Not sure about the XXX rear hub carriers.Maybe try some plastic ones first and if they fit,buy the alloy ones?
What you want is a Trinity XX alloy pivot block for that XXT (Don't we all?!).
Unfortunately, they have become scarce and are sought after,as they not only fir the XX,the XXT,but you can modify them to fit the XX-4,too.
I chased a rear Trinity pivot block for a long time, before I got one at a decent price and even then it was too scruffy for my XX CR shelfer,so I removed the front rib and slid it into my XX-4.
One thing to watch for is the later Trinity alloy parts were manufactured by a different machine shop and are weaker and the anodizing wears off quicker...Or so I've heard.
I sure wish Trinity,or someone else, would start making alloy pivot blocks, rear hub carriers and front bulkheads for the XX seies of cars and trucks.
I have a pair of Trinity XXT rear hubs stashed for my on-it's-way XXT-I bought them for my XX,but they wouldn't fit.
Glad I held on to them, now, with a XXT on it's way
