Hey guys, another RC10 newbie.

Post by vanpeebles »

Hello everyone, new this forum. Long time UK based Tamiya fan but I saw some of shodog's RC10s on Tamiya Club and I thought wow they look great I'd love one of those. I got lucky tonight and found this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330301033456&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:US:1123
also I've bought two more auctions full of spare parts so just waiting of it all in the post.

Its been a pleasure to read this forum the last week or so, full of cracking cars and info. Cheers! 8)

Neat looking car. It will be a lot of fun I'm sure. Ask questions if you need anything. Tons of smart guys on this site.

Welcome aboard,
The complete car you bought looks like a very early Edinger car but it is missing some of the goodies. Light gold chassis, looks like a good start.
Have fun!

I did! The three chassis turned up today with a load of bits in too. What's the best way to clean the nylon parts? Boil them up in a pan with some washing powder?

Plenty of spares and a million bumpers  Just need the car to arrive now! Can anyone spot anything decent or is it just random spares?

in the last picture...I see some RPM/Andy's black arms, truck front white arms, maybe part of an MIP tranny? and a couple Losi rear bulkheads. I see a lot of 6 gear internals, but didnt notice any tranny cases

nothing is junk if you find a use for it!

That half gear case says MIP. What are the Andys/RPM arms? Are the metal parts the Losi bits?

Red is Losi bulkheads (I think), Green is black arms, they should say RPM or Andy's.

Many thanks! I thought they were later black RC10 parts the bulk head bits. What did the RPM/Andys parts fit?
